David E. Matlusky
David E. Matlusky was born and raised in Greenville, Delaware. David graduated from the Tatnall School in 1989, and received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Delaware in 1993. He graduated from Widener University School of Law in 1998. David also received a Masters of Law (L.L.M.) at Widener University School of Law in Corporate Financial Law in 2002. At Widener, David was a founding member of the Real Estate Development Society, and earned a certificate of achievement in Corporate Law & Finance.
David is a member of the Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey State Bar, and also became admitted to practice in the Federal Court for the District of Delaware. David is an Associate Member to the New Castle County Board of Realtors, and an active member of the Commercial Industrial Real Estate Council.
Recently, David has been approved as an Arbitrator by the Better Business Bureau and the New Castle County Board of Realtors program that oversees and manages disputes involving residential property purchases. Generally these claims are limited in amount and offer buyers and sellers a fast and cost effective avenue to settle post closing disputes.
David is a member of the Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey State Bar, and also became admitted to practice in the Federal Court for the District of Delaware. Bret Bendistis
Brett Bendistis is an associate with The Matlusky Firm, LLC and a 2007 graduate of Widener University School of Law. Brett is currently admitted to practice law in the States of Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Brett specializes in the field of civil litigation, real estate, criminal matters and appeals. In the past year, Brett has argued before each court in the Delaware judicial system, including the Delaware Supreme Court. Brett has experience dealing with criminal courts in the States of Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey and is available to defend against any criminal charges in those States.
Brett is available for in home and after hour appointments.
At Widener, Brett graduated cum laude with public service recognition. Brett was also a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, the Moe Levine Trial Advocacy Society, and the Widener Law Review. Brett published an article in the Spring 2007 edition of the Widener Law Review entitled Islam and the Iraqi Constitution, and in January 2007 volunteered with Project Gideon, which assisted the New Orleans Public Defenders Office in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
